We are so pleased to welcome the mother to one of our most exciting young doelings, Mossy Rock PA Royalty!
Her momma, Paris, has caught my eye since the day I saw her photo as a weanling and has grown into a petite yet long bodied doe with great width and dairy style. In 2020 she freshened with a beautiful socked on mammary, with that breathtaking high wide rear udder and wide area of attachment that I melt over.
Her sire is Camanna OMF Gold Jackpot, who's lines we have continued to seek out after we purchased our girl Wonderland GJ Ferrero Fiesta. Jackpots owner reports: "His daughters have had greatly improved mammary systems, most consistently in the ever elusive high and wide rear udder height and attachments. They have also had improved teat placement and strong foreudders."
Her full sister from a previous year placed Reserve Grand Champion in Salmon Arm in a very competitive group of Nigerians as a yearling FF. She had impressive production for a FF, and is reported to be very easy to milk out with soft udder texture and plump, easy expressing teats with large orifices, as well as a high, well attached rear udder.
We plan to pair Paris with our foundation US buck Castle Rock Nikolas this fall to really pump up that udder capacity. I expect these kids to be incredible!
